Clinton Brooks Whitfield

AIKEN – Mr. C. Brooks Whitfield, 71, died Thursday, November 15, 29007 in Apopka, FL. Mr. Whitfield was born in New York City, a son of the late Robert Joseph and Clinton Brooks Whitfield. He attended Lawrenceville School, Lawrenceville, NJ, Washington Lee and received his BA in Theater form UC Berkeley. He was a television writer and director, a member of Palmetto Golf Club, the Green Boundary and the Chechessie Creek Golf Club, Beaufort, SC. He was also a member of the First Church of Christ Scientist. Survivors include his beloved wife, Deanna Deaton Whitfield; two daughters, Laura Clinton Whitfield, Aiken, Audrey Whitfield MacKenzie, Tualatin, OR; a son, Robert Brooks Whitfield, Charleston, SC; two grandchildren, Lizzie and Gavin MacKenzie.
