Anna Beasley Loebsack

AIKEN – Mrs. Anna Beasley Loebsack, 36, of Gastonia, NC, died Tuesday, November 27, 2007. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday at First Baptist Church, Aiken. The Reverend Dr. Fred Andrea III will officiate. The family will receive friends in the church parlor following the service and food will be served. A second service will be held at 2:00pm Sunday at the First ARP Church in Gastonia, NC. Pastor Eddie Spencer will officiate Anna was born in Aiken, SC and graduated from South Aiken High School in 1989. She received her Bachelor's and Master's degrees from Clemson University (BS 1993; MS 1996), and had lived in Charlotte and Gastonia, NC for the last eleven years following her graduation. She was a research scientist with Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte until the birth of her first son, Joseph, and has since been a homemaker for her family in Gastonia. She was a past member of the Gastonia Junior League, and was an avid horse enthusiast. She was a life-long member of First Baptist Church, Aiken. Survivors include her beloved husband, Christopher Loebsack; two sons, Joseph Allen and Thomas William Loebsack; her mother, Willa Shirkey Beasley, Townville, SC; her grandparents, William Alton and Mabel McCoy Beasley, Aiken.
