Elizabeth Fogle Davis

WINDSOR, SC – MRS. ELIZABETH FOGLE DAVIS, 80, widow of Wardlaw Davis, died Sunday, December 16, 2007 at her residence in Windsor, SC. A native of Orangeburg County, SC, Mrs. Davis was a daughter of the late Lloyd C. and Cora Williams Fogle. She was a registered nurse and retired from the Aiken County Hospital. She was a member of Windsor First Baptist Church. Survivors include two sons, Wayne L. Davis of Pelham, NC and Daniel Carl Davis of Windsor, a daughter, Wanda Kay Davis Rogers of North Augusta, three sisters, Rae Judy and Molly Barnes of Orangeburg and Shirley Marsh’re of San Diego, CA, five grandchildren, one step grandchild and a great-grandchild. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11:00 AM at Windsor First Baptist Church with Rev. Robert Altman officiating. Interment will follow at 2:00 PM in Calvary Baptist Church Cemetery, Neeses, SC. Pallbearers will be Hank Judy, Dick Wolfe, Mitchell Davis, Frank Mizell, Henry Woodward and Michael Montoya. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Tuesday at Shellhouse – Rivers Funeral Home, 715 East Pine Log Rd., Aiken, SC 29803.
