Ruby Jean Green Klein

AIKEN – Mrs. Ruby Jean Green Klein, 77, died Monday, December 17, 2007 at her residence. A memorial service will be held at 2 PM Friday at Trinity United Methodist Church with the Rev. Dr. Rodney K. Powell officiating. The family will receive friends from 12 PM until the time of the service at the church. Mrs. Klein was a native of Ypsilanti, MI, one of thirteen children born to the late Amos and Mary Symington Green. She and her late husband, Edward Lewis Klein moved to Aiken in 1978. She was a schoolteacher and later the office manager for their business, Ashhurst Realty. She was on the Human Rights Committee at Tri-Development of Aiken County, and a member of the Alumni Association at Adrian College in Michigan. Survivors include her daughter, Robin Klein (Don) Rabun, Aiken; her son, Breck Edward (Charlotte) Klein, Aiken; four grandchildren, Stephanie K. McWhorter, Brandon C. Jensen, Brittany M. Klein and Corey E. Klein; one great grandchild, Lilah Pearl McWhorter; two sisters, Hazel Discher, Lyndonville, VT, Virginia Parsons, Greenville, SC; a brother, Lewis Green, Chelsea, MI.
