Donna Kay Jackson Hickman

AIKEN, SC – DONNA KAY JACKSON HICKMAN, 55, beloved wife of Thurman Hickman, died Sunday, December 23, 2007 at her residence. A native of Rome, GA, Mrs. Hickman had lived in Aiken for 18 years. She was a homemaker, a member of VFW Post 7909 in Jacksonville, FL and an active bowler. Survivors include her husband, a daughter, Tracy (Wally) Van Cala or North Augusta, two sons, Chris (Rebecca) Hickman and Robbie Hickman of Aiken, two grandchildren, Dakota Van Cala and Caitlyn Hickman, two sisters, Pam Hamilton, Jacksonville, FL and Cheryl Mosley, Starke, FL. She was preceded in death by her mother, Ruby Gore Jackson Stapleton and her fathers, Don Jackson and Robert Stapleton. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 3:00 PM in the chapel of Shellhouse – Rivers Funeral Home, with The Rev. Joe Youngblood officiating. Interment will be private. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Wednesday at Shellhouse – Rivers Funeral Home, 715 East Pine Log Rd., Aiken, SC.
