Jeannette G. Harvey

AIKEN, SC - JEANNETTE GODLEY HARVEY, 76, widow of James Fred Harvey, Sr., died Thursday, November 1, 2012 at Georgia Health Sciences University Medical Center. Born in Walterboro, SC, Mrs. Harvey was a daughter of the late Donald Sherman and Sarah Elizabeth Polk Godley. She grew up in Miley, SC and had lived in Aiken since 1960. Mrs. Harvey was a retired production coordinator for Harvey Hubbell. She was a member of First Christian Church of Aiken. Survivors include two sons, James F. (Tammy) Harvey, Jr., Clinton, TN and Donald L. Harvey, Aiken; three granddaughters, Pamela H. (Brandon) Madison, Hannah E. Harvey and Jennifer J. (Bradley) Funk and a sister, Sarah Achaia Hunter, Hampton, SC. Funeral services will be held at Sunday, November 4, 2012 at 2:30 PM at First Christian Church, Aiken with The Rev. Ken McDonald officiating. Interment will follow in Southlawn Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Brandon Madison, Will Sammons, Bradley Funk, Chuck Voldness, Lee Gunter and James Bracco.
