Mary R. Morris

AIKEN – Mrs. Mary R. Morris, 79, died Tuesday, November 6, 2012. Mrs. Morris was born in Williston, SC, having made Aiken her home for the past 60 years. She was a daughter of the late Joseph H. and Inez Mildred Williams Roberson. Mrs. Morris worked as a nurse’s aide for Aiken Nursing Home and was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church. She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Terry and Michael Raper, Mrytle Beach, SC; two grandchildren, Brandon and Michael Raper; a sister, Charlotte Bush, Aiken, SC and four brothers, J.H. Roberson, Martin Roberson, Jerry Roberson, all of Aiken, SC and Russell Roberson, Covington, LA. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Willie R. Morris and a daughter, Mary K. Morris. Graveside services will be held 11 AM Friday, November 9, 2012 in the Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery, Aiken, SC with the Rev. Taylor Wells & Martin Roberson officiating.
