Harry Eugene Coor

AIKEN, SC – Mr. Harry Eugene Coor, 73, died Wednesday, January 9, 2008. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM Monday in the Shellhouse Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Donnie Bates will officiate. The family will receive friends following the service. Mr. Coor was born in Wayne County, NC, a son of the late Charles Edmund and Annie Rose Coor. Before moving to Aiken in 2006, he was in the US Air Force, an Insurance Executive with Industrial Risk Insurers, a member of Bethany United Methodist Church, Charleston, SC. He was a member of Woodside Country Club. Survivors include his beloved wife, Julia Wheeler Coor; a son, Charles Byron Coor, Lawrenceville, GA; a daughter, Jocelyn C. Finnegan, Alexandria, VA; four grandchildren, Hilary Coor, Chelsea Finnegan, Elliott Coor and Clayton Finnegan; two sisters, Katheryn Lewis, Greenville, NC, Mary Elizabeth Morris, Bethel, NC.
