Derrick Ray Moseley

AIKEN, SC - Mr. Derrick Ray Moseley, 33, died Saturday, November 17, 2012. Mr. Moseley, a lifelong resident of Aiken was a son of the late Donnie Ray Moseley and Cheryl Marozas (Kim) Jackson, North Augusta, SC. He worked as a plumber and a trim carpenter and loved spending time with his family. Derrick also loved to hunt and fish. He will be very much missed by his family. Survivors in addition to his mother include a son, Donnie Ray Moseley; half sisters, Kimberly Adele Jackson, North Augusta, SC, Jennifer Love Moseley, Warrenville, SC; a stepbrother, Jason Moseley; maternal grandparents, Roy and Greta Marozas, Aiken; Aunts, Lynda Blystone, Jeanie Moseley, Denise Moseley, Debbie Moseley; Uncles, Marvin Marozas, Mark Moseley, Phillip, Tommy, and Joey Moseley. He loved his aunt and uncle Jeanie and Joey Moseley. They were like his second parents. His cousins were like his brothers and sisters, Jody Moseley, Lisa Reno and Dewayne Moseley, Chris Moseley, Chad Moseley, Curtis Moseley, Nicole Thomas, Michael Marozas and Jason Marozas. In addition to his father, Derrick was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Don Moseley and Joanne Autry. The family will receive friends from 5-7 PM Sunday at the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Monday, November 19 at 11:00 AM at Shellhouse-Rivers Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Dean Cartin officiating. Pallbearers will be his cousins.
