AIKEN, SC - DAVID EDWARD KAPPELER, 58, beloved husband of Kate Franks Kappeler, died Monday, November 19, 2012 at Aiken Regional Medical Centers. A native of Dayton, OH, Mr. Kappeler was a son of Flora Lee Hembree Ferlita and the late Edward Kappeler. He had lived in Aiken since 1978, and was retired from Beloit Manhattan. Survivors include his wife Kate and his mother Flora of Aiken; a daughter, Robin (Scott) Grandle, Aiken; two sons, Aaron Jordan, Aiken and Timothy (Kristen) Jordan, Round Rock, TX; seven grandchildren, Kyndal (Thomas) Sitler, Skylan Grandle, Amber Jordan, Maxwell Grandle, Tyler, Michayla and Kathryn Jordan; two great-grandchildren, Kadence and Kerrigan Sitler; and a sister, Pam McDaniel, Aiken.
