Dennis James Kring

AIKEN, SC - DENNIS JAMES KRING, 66, beloved husband of Barbara D. Kring, died suddenly Wednesday, November 21, 2012. A native of South Bend, IN, Mr. Kring was a son of the late Melvin George and Marjorie Marie Colditz Kring. He was a Vietnam Veteran of the U.S. Army where he earned the M 14 sharpshooter badge and expert badge for the M16. Survivors include his wife, Barbara D. Kring; a daughter, Audra D. Miles (Bobby), Aiken; two sons, Todd D. Kring (Candee), Johnston, SC and Brent R. Kring (Holley), Aiken; three grandchildren, Cole R. Kring, Adele R. Miles and Hannah C. Kring; two sisters, Joy Blake (Bob), Elkhart, IN and Wendy Jensen (Don), Bloomington, IN. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until Noon Monday at Shellhouse - Rivers Funeral Home, followed by a service in the chapel at Noon. The Revs. Ken McDonald and Robert Jackson will officiate. Interment will follow in Southlawn Cemetery with Military Honors.
