Priscilla May Jones

AIKEN, SC – MRS. PRISCILLA MAY JONES, 83, widow of George H. Jones, died Thursday, January 24, 2008 at Eden Gardens. Mrs. Jones was born in Sandersville, GA on March 29, 1924 to Thomas Edison and Anna Lou Parker May. She was a homemaker and a member of Memorial Baptist Church. Survivors include a son, Ronnie (Suzanne) Jones, Marietta, GA, two daughters, Brenda (Douglas) Moody, Aiken and Connie Williams, Newburn, NC. Seven grandchildren, Chris, Brian and Mark Jones, Douglas Moody , Kimberly M. Purvis, Georgia Deason and Monica Hair, five great-grandchildren, Meridith Jones, Grant Jones, Zachary Deason, Alexis Deason and Olivia Catherine Moody, a sister, Betty Key, McDonough, GA and a brother Hugh May of Florida. A memorial service will be held Monday at 12 Noon in the chapel of Shellhouse – Rivers Funeral Home, 715 East Pine Log Rd., Aiken, SC, with The Rev. Jim Kirk officiating. Private interment will be in Sunset Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home following the memorial service.
