AIKEN – Mrs. Gladys Christine Fischer Ormiston, 92, died Monday, January 28, 2008. Funeral services will be held at First Presbyterian Church, Cold Spring, NY on Saturday, February 2, 2008. Interment will follow in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Yonkers, NY. Mrs. Ormiston was born in Cold Spring, NY, a daughter of the late George and Bella Peters Fischer. She was a resident of Aiken for over 25 years, and a member of South Aiken Presbyterian Church, Aiken. Survivors include a niece, Holly J. Ralph, Satellite Beach, FL; two sisters, Irene Chase, Cold Spring, NY, Hazel Larson, Seattle, WA; a brother, William Fischer, Cold Spring, NY.
