Fred Pitts Wright, Jr.

AIKEN-Fred Pitts Wright, Jr., 67, entered into rest Wednesday, December 5, 2012. Mr. Wright was a lifelong resident of Aiken and the son of the late Fred Pitts Wright, Sr. and Nina Woodward Wright. Fred attended the University of South Carolina. He was an avid outdoorsman and horseman, who enjoyed his friendships within the Aiken Tennis Club, Aiken Polo Club, Aiken Steeplechase Assoc., Sertoma Club, Beech Island Agricultural Club and Phi Delta Theta. He is survived by his daughter, Allison Wright (Travis) Hixon, Augusta, GA, and a son William Barrett Wright, Aiken; grandchildren Andrew, Katie, and Matthew Hixon.
