Patricia Houwers Taylor

AIKEN - Patricia Houwers Taylor, age 65, passed away at Aiken Regional Medical Center on Friday, December 14, 2012. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 Am Monday in the Shellhouse-Rivers Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend Dr. Chris Masters officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Born November 25, 1947 in Sheboygan, WI, to Jerome William and Nancy Houwers, she had lived in Aiken most of her adult life. She married Donald W. Taylor, Jr. and worked alongside him in his home-based surveying company until her bout with breast cancer. She was preceded in death by her husband and parents. She is survived by her two siblings William Houwers and Pamela McCollum along with her children Johnny, Roger, Donelle, Karen, and Keith, and their host of children and grandchildren.
