AIKEN – Mrs. Sarah Williams, 91, died Sunday, December 16, 2012. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM Thursday at First Presbyterian Church with the Reverend Holly Shoaf-O’kula and Jane Keisler officiating. The family will receive friends following the service in the church fellowship hall. Mrs. Williams was born in Rennert, NC, a daughter of the late Hugh and Polly Walters McGoogan. She was a resident of Aiken since 1955, and a member of First Presbyterian Church. She was also a member of the Town and Country Club, New Comers Club, Red Hat Society, Stephens Ministry and numerous bridge clubs. She is survived two daughters, Darcy Williams (Douglas) Orr, Black Mountain, NC, Sallye Williams (Buzz) Rich, Aiken; son, Maurice (Bud) Manning (Georgia) Williams, Jr.; 10 grandchildren, Stewart Williams, Michael Williams, Ashley Williams, Brecken Hentz, Creighton Hentz, Katey Rich, Warren Rich, Kellen Rich, Heather Orr Abernathy, Holly Orr; eight great grandchildren, Lauren Williams, Emily Williams, Campbell Elvis, Bennett Elvis, Abigail Williams, Colin Abernathy, Campbell Abernathy, Quincy Orr; two sisters, Estelle Daniels, N. Myrtle Beach, SC, Elizabeth Wright, N. Myrtle Beach, SC; a brother, Billy McGoogan, Palm Coast, FL. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lt.
