David Kettyle

AIKEN, SC - DAVID C. KETTYLE, 74, beloved husband of Faith Clifford Kettyle, died Thursday, December 20, 2012 at Aiken Regional Medical Centers. A native of Staten Island, NY, David was a son of the late Jules and Elizabeth McCoy Kettyle. He lived most of his life on Staten Island before retiring to South Carolina. He was a mechanic and retired from the City of New York Sanitation Department. David had lived in Aiken for the last 6 years and he enjoyed model railroading. Survivors, in addition to his wife Faith, include two sons, John Kettyle (Maryann), Norfolk, VA and Stephen Kettyle (Francine), Staten Island, NY; four grandchildren, Shawna Kettyle Lewis, Megan Kettyle, Patrick Kettyle and Christopher Kettyle; a sister, Fran Milarta, Townada, PA and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his brother, Richard Kettyle. Funeral services will be held Sunday, December 23, 2012 at 3:00 PM at Shellhouse - Rivers Funeral Home with Deacon Bob Waters officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home following the service.
