David Clarence Rogerson

AIKEN, SC – DAVID C. ROGERSON, 52, beloved husband of Janette Walls Rogerson, died Sunday, February 3, 2008 at his residence. A native of Glen Dale, WV, Mr. Rogerson was a son of Ruth Rogerson and the late Clarence E. Rogerson. He was an eagle scout and a graduate of Virginia Tec with a masters degree in electrical engineering. He had lived in Aiken since 1991 and was an engineer with The Washington Group at the Savannah River Site. Survivors, in addition to his wife Jan, include his mother Ruth of Moundsville, WV, a step-daughter, Cheryl (Jonathan) Glover Blackstock of Tiger, GA, a step-son, Christopher (Stacy) Glover, Montmorenci, SC, five grandchildren, Paul, Marissa and Jack Blackstock and Taylor and Thomas Austin Glover, a sister, Sharon R. (Randall) Elkins, Lynchburg, VA, an aunt, Doris R. Myers, Moundsville, WV, father-in-law and mother-in-law, James E. and Jeanne Walls, Aiken, sister-in-law, Tina W. (Joe) Shake, Aiken and a brother-in-law, Steven D. (Sue) Walls, Lexington, SC. Funeral services will be held Friday, February 8, 2008 at 1:00 PM in the chapel of Shellhouse – Rivers Funeral Home with The Rev. Brancie Stephens officiating. Private interment will be in Sunset Memory Gardens. Pallbearers will be Steve Walls, Joe Shake, Chris Glover, Joe Podesta, John Campbell and Paul Gilstad. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Thursday at Shellhouse – Rivers Funeral Home, 715 East Pine Log Rd., Aiken, SC.
