Donnie Hurst Brown

AIKEN, SC – MRS. DONNIE H. BROWN, 96, widow of Edward M. Brown, died Wednesday, February 6, 2008 at Select Specialty Hospital in Augusta, GA. A native of Robersonville, NC, Mrs. Brown was a daughter of the late William K. and Margaret Brown Hurst. She was a homemaker and a member of St. John’s United Methodist Church. Survivors include a step-daughter, Phyllis Brown Whalen of Norfolk, VA, an daughter, Edie Dee Brown Nicholson of Graniteville, granddaughter, Jennifer Nicholson Jones and great-grandson, Matthew Wren Jones and several nieces and nephews Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday at St. John’s United Methodist Church with The Rev. Dr. George Howle officiating. Interment will follow next week at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Norfolk, VA.
