Lynn M. Stucky

BEECH ISLAND, SC- LYNN MARTIN STUCKY, 75, died Tuesday, January 08, 2013 at Aiken Regional Medical Centers. Born in Decatur, IN, Lynn was a son of the late Martin "Mike" Stucky and Verona Synder Stucky. He served in the Indiana Air National Guard and was called into active duty in 1961 during the Berlin Air Crisis. Mr. Stucky also served with the Indiana Air National Guard. Lynn moved to Aiken, SC from Willshire, OH in 1978. He retired as a design engineer with ASCO. He was a member of Saint John's United Methodist Church and a former member of the Lions Club. Lynn enjoyed hydroponic gardening. He built two houses, as well as designed and built his own ultra light airplane. Survivors include his former wife, Marcia Stucky of Aiken, SC; 2 daughters, Lori Coward (Robert) of Aiken and Lisa Kirkland (Milton) of New Holland, SC; a son Lon Stucky (Dee) of New Haven, IN; 4 grandchildren, Brendan and Kristen Coward, Rachel and Kayley Kirkland; a step-granddaughter, Charity Crawford; 4 step-great grandchildren; and a sister; Rozanne Hallman of Fremont, IN. Funeral services and burial will be in Decatur, IL under the direction of Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 19 at 2:00PM at Calvary Chapel of Aiken on Croft Mill Rd. Memorials may be directed to the charity of one's choice.
