Charles Phillip Cozad

March 7, 1924 — February 2, 2013

AIKEN - Phil Cozad died Feb 2nd, 2013, following an extended illness. An Aiken resident since 2003, Mr. Cozad was born in 1924 in Noblestown, PA and came here from Ocala, FL where he had lived for much of his life. He was an Air Force veteran of World War II and a retired federal employee. Here in Aiken, he was a member of First Presbyterian Church and of Houndslake Golf & Country Club. Mr. Cozad was pre-deceased in 2007 by his wife Lois. He is survived by his son David and daughter-in-law Dana of Aiken, his daughter Barbara Biddle and son-in-law Alan Biddle of Annandale, VA, 4 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at First Presbyterian Church on Saturday, Feb. 9 at 4:30 pm with a reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts should be directed to the Memorial Fund of First Presbyterian Church, 224 Barnwell Ave., Aiken, SC 29801.
