AIKEN, SC - RONALD STANLEY KARPINSKI, 50, died Sunday, February 10, 2013 at his residence.
Ronald was born in Germany while his father was stationed in the military. He was the son of Ronald James and Kaethe Blendinger Karpinski. He proudly served his country as a Sergeant in the U.S. Army. Ronald had lived in Aiken County for the last 17 years.
Survivors include his parents Ronald and Kaethe Karpinski, Aiken; two sisters, Wanda Garrett (Billy), Wagener and Sandy Reddington (Frank), Sarasota, FL; nephews, Les Fleming, Honolulu, HI and Dominick DeDonno, Richmond, VA and a brother-in-law, Ed Kilgus, Williston, SC. Ronald was preceded in death by his sister, Susan Kilgus.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 PM Thursday at Shellhouse - Rivers Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held from the graveside in Southlawn Cemetery at 2 PM Friday, February 15, 2013.
