She was a retired librarian with the Prince Georges School District. Survivors include her daughter, Erna Arkin, Aiken; son, Richard Singer, East Windsor, NJ; six grandchildren, David Arkin, Dayna Dennington, Laurel Singer, Karyn Singer, Hana Garfing, Daniel Garfing; four great grandchildren, Avery, Harper and Landon Arkin, Avery Boardman.
