Allen Seigler

AIKEN SC-Allen Earl Seigler, 69, widower of Sheila Bridges Seigler, died, Friday, March 1, 2013. Funeral services will be held, at Shellhouse Funeral Home Chapel , Monday, March 4th, at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Thom Harvey officiating. The family will receive from noon till the time of the funeral. Internment will follow at Aiken Memorial Cementery. He is the son of the late Earl and Bertha Bentley Seigler. Mr. Seigler was a loving father and grandfather who enjoyed spending time with his family. He loved to fish and was an avid fan of drag racing. Known as "The Best Equipment Operator there Was" His happiest times were when he was operating a Cat D-8. He worked and supported his entire family after his fathers death. Mr. Seigler is survived by his sons: Gary (Tonya) Seigler, Aiken, Charlie (Catherine) Seigler, New Ellenton, Vernon (Cherise) Seigler, New Ellenton, and Matthew (Tabitha) Seigler, Windsor. Grandchildern: Gary Seigler, Jr., Cody Seigler, Lacey Seigler, Emily Seigler, Kelly Seigler, Taylor Seigler, Sterling Seigler, and Reese Seigler. Sisters: Becky Workentine, Charlotte, NC, Sara Blackman, Aiken, SC, Rose Lockhart, Charleston, SC, Kathy Piltz, Aiken, Susie Hallman, Aiken, Vickie Reynolds, Aiken.
