Ray Burnette

AIKEN, SC – Mr. Ernest Ray Burnette, 40, passed away Sunday March 2, 2008 Mr. Burnette was born in Bedford Shire, England to Ernest Ray Burnette and to the late Mary Kathleen Coston Burnette. He had lived in Aiken for 24 years and was a mechanic at Crawfords Auto. He also was a member of the New Ellenton Fire Deptment. Survivors include his father Ernest Ray Burnette of Grays, SC, his sister Lorraine Stringfield of Beech Island, SC, and three nieces Laura Cooper, Katelynn Stringfield, and Ashlynn Stringfield. He is preceded in death by a brother Ashley Burnette. Graveside services will be held Thursday at 11:00 AM at Aiken Memorial Cemetery with The Rev. Tim Minchey officiating.
