Robert C. (Bob) Foussat, 71, loving husband of Vickie Foussat for 35 years, died at their home Friday, March 8, 2013.
Bob, a Native American of the Luiseno Indian Tribe, was originally from Oceanside, Calfiornia and a mechanical engineer. He moved his family to Aiken 27 years ago to work at the Savannah River Site. They made it their home.
He is survived by his children with Vickie, Eva Margaret Foussat of Columbia, South Carolina and Jonathan William Foussat of Aiken, South Carolina.
Additional surviving children are Robert L. Foussat of Spanish Fork, Utah; and Paulette Foussat and Lori Foussat of Vista, California. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
He is preceded in death by his sister, Jeannie Foussat Anaya and his parents, Margaret and Louis Foussat.
