William Steven Basey

AIKEN – William Steven Basey, 59, died Tuesday, March 19, 2013. Born in Austin, TX to the late Herbert and Francis Chalk Basey, Steve spent most of his career as a carpenter. He is survived by his two daughters, Patrice Deanne Basey, Dearing, GA, and Amanda Renee Basey, Dearing, GA; a son, Adam Basey; four grandchildren; a sister, Becky Hadden, Hephzibah, GA; three brothers, Keith and Ricky Basey both of Aiken, and Edward Basey of Evans, GA. A memorial service will be held at 6:00 PM on Tuesday, March 26 at the Shellhouse Funeral Home chapel with Pastor Kevin Steele officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.
