AIKEN, SC - Kate Holland Harms arrived in this world early on the morning of March 30th, 2013 to her parents Caleb and Joni Harms of Aiken, SC. Kate was not meant long for this world, but in the short time she shared with us, she reminded us of the importance of fully and completely surrendering to the will and perfect plan of our Heavenly Father. On the afternoon of April 2, 2013, we were blessed to hold our sweet Kate for the first time as she was ushered into the throne room of Grace to meet her Creator face to face. "Death has been swallowed up in victory. Where, O death, is your victory? Where, O death, is your sting?......thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ." I Cor. 15:54b-57. Now, just as before, we continue to ask God to continue to work His mighty will.
Kate is survived by her loving parents, Caleb and Joni Harms, sister Halle, grandparents Emmit and Ann Bosshamer and Kevin and Linda Harms, and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A memorial service for Kate will be held at 4:00pm at Millbrook Baptist Church on Thursday April 4, 2013. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
