Joann Kennedy Manning

AIKEN, SC - JOANN KENNEDY MANNING, 68, beloved wife of Robert E. Manning, Jr., died Thursday, April 25, 2013 at Aiken Regional Medical Centers. Born in New York City, Joann was a daughter of the late John Howard and Marion McCarthy Kennedy. She was a graduate of Green Mountain College in Poultney, VT. Joann and Robert were married September 17, 1967 in Allendale, NJ. She was a retired chemist with Pfizer Pharmaceuticals in Pearl River, NY. She moved to Aiken 6 years ago from Glen Rock, NJ and was a member of the Aiken Newcomers Club. Survivors, in addition to her husband Robert, include a sister Gayle Carr and her husband Dennis of Wanaque, NJ; a brother, Howard L Kennedy and his wife Peggy of Chestertown, NY; two brothers-in-law, C. Jon Manning of Claremont, NH and Jeffery E. Manning and his wife Barbara of Lewiston, NY and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 1, 2013 at 1:00 PM at Shellhouse - Rivers Funeral Home with The Rev. Dr. Henry L. Chennault officiating.
