AIKEN, SC - Lila Ruth Randall Harley, 81, Beloved wife of the Late Julian Harley went to be with the Lord on April 29, 2013. Proclaiming “I am a sinner saved by Grace” A lifelong resident of Aiken. She was the daughter of the Late Arthur & Lillie Scott Randall and was a retired co-owner of Harley's Auto Parts She leaves to cherish her memory her daughter, Joanne Harley and her three sons and “daughters”. Tim and Ruth Anne Harley, Larry and Jadene Harley and David Harley. Nine grandchildren; Julian and Ashli Harley, Charlene and Chris Whittle , Marc andKrystle Gregory, Tammy and David O’Berry and Lisa Kirby; five great-grandchildren, . Christopher Whittle, Carly Whittle, Jared O”Berry, Liam Gregory and Makenzie Gregory…( She was so excited when Julian & Ashli told her she would be getting another great- grand in November.) Along with her husband Julian Harley and her parents she was predeceased by 4 brothers…Lucius, Willie, Arthur,Jr. and George Randall. Numerous nieces and nephews and sisters-in-law Anita Harley, Louise Harley and Nellene and Sam Harley. Mrs. Harley’s visitation will be held Wednesday from 6 to 8 PM at Shellhouse Rivers Funeral home on the Southside. Her Home-going service will be Thursday at 1:03 PM at Redds Branch Baptist Church with burial following in the church cemetery. The Rev. Dr. Gary Hanna, Rev. Jamie Rogers and Rev. Dr. Ray Litts will officiate, with special words of remembrance by her son Tim Harley. The family will receive friends one hour before the service. Pallbearers will be her grandsons Julian Harley, Marc Gregory, Chris Whittle ,Christopher Whittle her great nephew David Redd and treasured friend Jimmy Canepa. Honorary Pallbearers will be Bruce Boatwright, Tommie Blackwell and her longtime friends Nancy Durst & Miriam Summers.
