BEECH ISLAND - Ms. Wanda Gail Rhoad, 56, died Friday, May 3, 2013. The family will receive friends at 11:00 AM, and the funeral services will follow at 12:00 PM, Wednesday, May 8, 2013 in the Shellhouse-Rivers Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Ms. Rhoad was born in Walterboro, SC, a daughter of the late Harold Dean Rhoad and Juanita Gail Miley. She had been a lifelong resident of Aiken County and retired from Lowes. She is survived by her daughter, Casey Elizabeth Dakota Busbee, Beech Island; sons, Jeremiah Blue Springer, Aiken, Shannon Lee Springer, Fredericksburg, VA, Kenneth Anthony Dixon Spoonemore, Beech Island; a grandchild, Damon Spoonemore; mother, Barbara K. Rhoad, Aiken; a sister, Sherri Jean Bonner, Aiken; two brothers, Ronnie Dean Rhoad, Lodge, SC, David Nathaniel Rhoad, Aiken, and a special pet, Dale Earnhardt, Jr. Memorials may be directed to the American Lung Association National Headquarters 1301 Pennsylvania Ave., NW, Suite 800.
