James E. Neu

AIKEN, SC - JAMES EDWARD NEU, 74, beloved husband of Dori Lamer Neu, died suddenly Monday, May 13, 2013 at Aiken Regional Medical Centers. A native of Miami, FL, Mr. Neu was a son of the late Clorita Vernon and Thelma Eloise Rouch Neu. He was a veteran of the United States Coast Guard. He moved to Aiken in 1977 from Miami and was a retired union carpenter. He was a member of the Aiken Masonic Lodge # 156. Survivors, in addition to Dori, his wife of 31 years, include five sons, James Neu Jr., (Kathleen), Graniteville, Daniel Neu (Amy), Aiken, Wayne Lamer (Kathy), Aiken, Doug Lamer, Aiken and Scott Lamer (Tricia), Windsor; 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
