Alice Harnagel Faugl

AIKEN - Mrs. Alice Harnagel Faugl, 87, died Sunday, June 16, 2013. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM Monday at the funeral home, and the funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM in the Shellhouse-Rivers Funeral Home chapel with the Reverend Steve Taylor officiating. A private entombment will be held in Aiken Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Jason Faugl, Jeremy Faugl, Jeff Graber, Jason Jacquet, Timothy Faugl, Scott Dawson, Matthew Graber, Peyton Faugl, Taylor Newnham. Mrs. Faugl was born in Mansfield, OH, a daughter of the late Theodore Alfred and Martha Saeman Harnagel. A resident of Aiken since 1973, she retired from Aiken Technical College as an Accounting clerk in 1987. She was a member of the local AARP, the Senior Wellness Program, the Ladies Bible Study Group, and was a former children's Sunday School teacher at Grace Brethren Church where she was a member. She is survived by her beloved husband, Donald Edwin Faugl; two daughters, Donna (Jay) Jacquet, Granville, OH, Patricia (John) Budowick, Longwood, FL; two sons, Donald (Ann) Faugl, Aiken, Timothy (Sherry) Faugl, Aiken; 10 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; a sister, Concordia Prinz, Mansfield, OH.
