James Allen Bell

AIKEN – Mr. James Allen Bell, 65, died Monday, July 8, 2013. A lifelong resident of Aiken, Mr. Bell was a son of the late James Davis and Mattie Bonnett Bell. He worked as a carpenter and was a member of Central Baptist Church. In addition to his mother, James is survived by his daughters, Natasha (Nathan) Henderson, Fredericksburg, VA, Melisa (Nicola) Mersini, Stroudsburg, PA; three grandchildren, Aiden Henderson, Coby Wentzler, Walker Wentzler; sisters, Louise Basnight, Summerville, SC, Janice Mock, Walterboro, SC, Peggy Aycock, Hopkins, SC and Patsy Saunders of Aiken. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 11 at 2:00 PM at the Shellhouse Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Mike Cato officiating. Interment will follow at Central Baptist Church Cemetery.
