Brit Johanna Grosvold

WARRENVILLE, SC - BRIT JOHANNA GROSVOLD, 71, beloved wife of Kaare Grosvold, died Wednesday, July 10, 2013 at Aiken Regional Medical Center. A native of Oslo, Norway, Brit was a daughter of the late Arvid and Elvira (Soren) Christiansen. She lived most of her life in Brooklyn, NY before moving to Aiken 8 years ago. She attended Breezy Hill Baptist Church. Survivors include four daughters, Heidi North (David), New Milford, CT, Helen Howell (David), North Augusta, SC, Anne Sandvik (John), Beech Island, SC and Kim Coffey (Andrew), Danbury, CT; 17 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; a sister, Aud Mittet, Vancouver, British Columbia and a brother, Arild Christiansen, Stabekk, Norway. In addition to her parents, Brit was preceded in death by a brother, Ivan Christiansen. A memorial service will be held Friday at 7:00 PM at Breezy Hill Baptist Church.
