AIKEN, SC- Mrs. Frances Plunkett Temples, 91, died Thursday, July 25, 2013.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 3 PM at the Shellhouse Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Taylor Wells officiating. Family will receive friends one hour before the funeral. Interment will follow in Aiken Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers will be Stan Rodgers, Carter Rhine, Wayne Plunkett, Wiley Blackwell, Don Bennett, and Carl Brantley.
Honorary pallbearers will be the Naomi Bible Class.
Frances, a life long resident of Aiken, was a daughter of the late Clenton Plunkett and Ellie Jordan Plunkett, and mother of the late Betty T. Derrick. She was married to the late Finley Temples. She spent her time as a homemaker, was a life long member of Shiloh Baptist Church and a member of the Naomi Bible Class. She retired from Mt. Vernon Mills in Johnston, SC.
She is survived by a daughter; Linda Kay T. (Kenneth) Rushton, Wagener, SC; three grandchildren; Timothy (Lisa) Derrick, Wanda (Stuart) Poole, and Eugene Rushton; great-grandsons; Jonathan Derrick, Justin (Amber) Derrick; great great grandson, David Derrick, and son-in-law, John Derrick.
