Edith Long Robertson

AIKEN, SC - EDITH LONG ROBERTSON, 92, widow of Robert E. Robertson, died Tuesday, August 20, 2013 at Aiken Regional Medical Centers. A native of Rusk, TX, Mrs. Robertson was a daughter of the late Louis D. and Mabel Cole Long. She was the former owner and operator of Robertson's Tax Service. She was a member of South Aiken Presbyterian Church for over 50 years where she was a former member of the choir. She was a member of Order of the Eastern Star. Survivors include two sons, Jim Robertson (Tina), Aiken, SC and Bob Robertson (Bernice), Peachtree City, GA; two grandchildren, Kelley McNeill (James), Aiken and Mike Lain (fianceé Nichole), Aiken, two great-grandchildren, Cody McNeill and Savannah Leigh McNeill; a niece, Kris Spicer, Sterrett, AL and her longtime caregiver, Bertha Jones. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Thursday at Shellhouse - Rivers Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Friday, August 23, 2013 at 11:00 AM at the graveside in Sunset Memory Gardens. The Rev. Judy Bowling will officiate.
