Nellie Jackson Corbitt

AIKEN, SC - NELLIE JACKSON CORBITT, 96, died Friday, August 23, 2013 at UPAC of Aiken. Born in Orangeburg, SC, Mrs. Corbitt was a daughter of the late Hubert and Eva Robinson Hughes. She lived most of her life in Aiken County and former owner of Jackson's Grocery in the Hollow Creek Community. She was a member of Clinton United Methodist Church. Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Warrington and Evelyn Jackson, Aiken, a granddaughter, Joy and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Tallie Jackson. A memorial service will be held Sunday, August 25, 2013 at 4:00 PM at Clinton United Methodist Church, 333 Hollow Creek Rd., Salley, SC.
