Susie Flowers Corley

AIKEN – Mrs. Susie Flowers Corley, 91, died May 1, 2008 in Decatur, GA. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday at St. John’s United Methodist Church. The Reverend Dr. George K. Howle will officiate. Interment will follow in historic Bethany Cemetery. Mrs. Corley was born in Andrews, SC, a daughter of the late John Harris and Lillie Barwick Flowers. A resident of Aiken since 1942, Mrs. Corley was a home demonstration agent and a school teacher. She was a member of the Delta Gamma Teachers’ Sorority, the Green Gardeners Garden Club, and a member of St. John’s United Methodist Church. She is survived by her daughter, Susan Corley Keenan, Decatur, GA; two grandchildren, Brett and Amanda Keenan. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Corley’s husband, Frank Wesley Corley, preceded her in death.
