AIKEN – Mrs. Bertie Llewellyn Scott Hill, 86, died Thursday, September 5, 2013. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday at Darien Baptist Church with the Reverend Bob Rish and the Reverend Jason Redd officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Mrs. Hill was born in Oakwood, SC, a daughter of the late Jacob and Alberta Grice Scott. She was a loving mother and grandmother. She was a member of Darien Baptist Church and a member of the Monkey Club. Survivors include her daughter, Ruth (Garlin) O’Briant, Aiken; 3 grandsons Lamar, Jacob and Carl O’Briant. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert George Hill and a grandson, Waylon O’Briant. Memorials may be directed to Darien Baptist Church, 1362 Hatchaway Bridge Rd., Aiken, SC 29801.
