MaryAnn S. Beckwith

AIKEN, SC- MARYANN S. BECKWITH (née Brooks), 79, of Aiken, SC died Sunday, September 8, 2013 at the Medical College of Georgia. Mrs. Beckwith, affectionately known as Kathy, was a native of Chicago, Illinois, having made Woodside Plantation in Aiken, SC her home for the past fifteen years. Kathy was a graduate of Indiana University and had worked as an advertising and sales professional. She and her husband were former members of the Palmetto Golf Club and Woodside Plantation Country Club. Survivors include her husband, William L. Beckwith; two daughters, Wendy Spates, Huntington Beach, CA and Linda Beckwith, Augusta, GA; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Jefferson Brooks, Yucca Valley, CA and William and Nan Beckwith, Oswego, OR; six grandchildren and a loving and devoted caretaker, Janice Jennings.
