Jacob Herman Baas

Mr. Jacob Herman Baas, 72, died May 5, 2008 at the Medical College of Georgia, Augusta, GA. Mr. Baas was born in Elkton, MD, a son of the late Jacob and Anna May Dryden Baas. He was a plumber and waste-water operator, and had lived in the Aiken area for 2 months. Survivors include his beloved wife, Mary Ruth Williams Baas; two sons, Jacob H. Baas, IV, Daytona Beach, FL, Drew J. Baas, Summersville, MO; one grandchild, Shannon Colleen Baas. Funeral services will be held privately at a later date.
