Burdick and the late Ashley Nicole Kaney, died along with her mother on Monday the 30th of September 2013 at their residence in Summerville, SC. A native of Aiken, Riley lived most of her life in Aiken prior to moving to Summerville a year and a half ago. Suriviors, in addition to her father Paul of Aiken, include maternal grandmother, Katherine Guinn Kaney, Aiken; paternal grandfather, Douglas Burdick, Cameron, SC; uncle, J. Travis (Rachel) Ryan, Aiken; aunts, Michele Ortiz, Aiken, Teran Burdick Mise, James Island and Magen Burdick Rideout, Macon, GA. A memorial service for Ashley and Riley will be held three o'clock Sunday afternoon at Cedar Creek Church with The Rev. Philip Lee officiating.
