AIKEN, SC- Funeral Services for Ms. Kimberly Anne Tinney, who entered into rest Thursday, October 10, 2013, will be conducted at 1 o’clock Wednesday, October 16, 2013 in the Shellhouse-Rivers Funeral Home Chapel. The Reverend Doctor Chris Masters will officiate. Interment will be private in historic Bethany Cemetery. The family will receive friends beginning one hour prior to the service. Kim was a native of Birmingham, Alabama, having made Aiken her home since 1979. She is survived by her parents, William Joseph Tinney, Sr. and Sandra Saxara Tinney; two sons, Patrick A. Boatwright (Amanda) and William J. Boatwright; a grandson, Sawyer J. Boatwright, all of Aiken, SC; a brother, William Joseph Tinney, Jr. (Lily Zhao), Beijing, China; Aunts and Uncles, Otis and Elizabeth Smith, Jerry, Laura, Terrel, Jean, James, and Betty Tinney; many cousins and her partner, John Heverly.
