AIKEN, SC- Memorial services for Ms. Candace Maureen Burleson, 63, who entered into rest Saturday, October 12, 2013, will be conducted at 2 o'clock Thursday, October 17, 2013 in the Millbrook Baptist Church. The Reverend Doctor Chris Masters will officiate. The family will received friends following the service at the church. Ms. Burleson was a native of Anchorage, Alaska, having made Aiken her home since 1991. She was a dedicated member of Millbrook Baptist Church where she was a member of the Hearts In Praise Group, sang in the choir, and volunteered. She will be remembered a as a faithful servant to the Lord and a beloved mother, grandmother and sister. She is survived by her daughter, Vanessa Reynolds (Bobby), Ridgeway, SC; a son, SFC. Anthony Burleson (Misti), US Army of Aiken, SC and actively deployed to Afghanistan; four grandchildren, Sarah Burleson, Ashley Burleson, Megan Burleson, and Adam Hamelinck; two great grandchildren, Serenity and Emahyln; a sister, Eileen Day; two brothers, Larry Hutton and David Hutton and her father, James Dolan. She was preceded in death by her mother, the late Maxine Hutton.
