Raymond Zowada

AIKEN, SC – RAYMOND JOSEPH ZOWADA, 78, beloved husband of JoAnn Paquette Zowada, died Tuesday, June 03, 2008 at his residence. A native of Vernon, CT, Mr. Zowada was a son of the late Joseph and Helen Kinsman Zowada. He was a Marine Corps veteran and served in Korea. He retired from the maintenance department of Rockville General Hospital in Vernon, CT. He had lived in Chicopee, MA before moving to Palm Coast FL, where he lived for three years before moving to Aiken two years ago. Survivors, in addition to his wife JoAnn, include two daughters, Lisa Zowada, Manchester, CT and Leslie Zowada of Maryland, three step-sons, John Paquette, Smithtown, NY, Brien Paquette, Vero Beach, FL and Michael Paquett, Griswold, CT and six grandchildren.
