Letitia Brodie Kirkland

AIKEN, SC – Letitia Brodie Kirkland, 70, passed away Thursday, November 14, 2013. Born in Augusta, GA, to the late Judson Allen and Geraldine Keener Brodie, Ms. Kirkland was a resident of Aiken, SC for the last 49 years. She was a retired school teacher and was of Baptist faith. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, November 19, 2013 at the Shellhouse-Rivers Funeral Home Chapel at 2:00 PM. Following the service, interment (open to all) will take place at the Brodie Family Cemetery in Springfield, SC. She is survived by her two daughters, Amy Letitia Kirkland and Carolyn Ellis Kirkland, and two sons, James Bryon Kirkland and Michael Eugene Kirkland, all of Aiken; six grandchildren, Samantha Arbaugh Radford, Brylee Carson, Melanie Kirkland, Cole Matthews, Asa Matthews, Wyatt Matthews; two brothers, Joseph Allen Brodie and George McCoy Brodie, both of Aiken.
