Cecil M. Smith

AIKEN, SC – CECIL MILAS SMITH, 88, husband of the late Lucille Parker Smith, died Monday the 18th of November 2013 at Dillon Point Assisted Living in Spartanburg, SC. A native of Forney Creek, NC, Mr. Smith was a son of the late Earl and Revena Fouts Smith. He served in the United States Navy during World War II and was a retired supervisor with DuPont at the Savannah River Plant. Mr. Smith was a member of South Aiken Presbyterian Church, York Rite Bodies of South Carolina and a life member of Aiken Masonic Lodge #156. Survivors include two sons, Darryl Smith (Cheryl), Spartanburg, Enoch Smith, Aiken; two grandchildren, Garrett Smith, Savannah, GA, Kerri Smith, Spartanburg; a sister, Evelyn B. Smith, Morganton, NC. A graveside funeral service will be at Friday the 22nd of November at 2:00 PM in Union Hill Cemetery, Hayesville, NC. The Rev. Dr. Bob Pettit will officiate.
