AIKEN, SC- DAVID SAMUEL BRUCKNER, 50, of Silver Bluff Rd., Aiken, SC, died Wednesday, December 25, 2013 at his residence. Graveside funeral services with military honors will be held 2 PM Sunday, December 29, 2013 in Historic Bethany Cemetery. The Reverend Doctor George Howle officiating. Pallbearers will be Jay Watts, Billy Wilson, Ricky Nolan, Bill Gordon, Bruce Pattison, and Charles Corda. Friends may call this Saturday evening from 5 until 7 PM at Shellhouse Funeral Home, Hayne Ave. Mr. Bruckner was born in Charleston, SC, having made Aiken his life-long home. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force and was a Radiology Technician with Doctors Care. He was loved by many people and had an amazing sense of humor. Mr. Bruckner is survived by his mother, Rosalee Berger Rinehart, Aiken, SC; a daughter and son-in-law, Shannon and Michael Corda, Winder, GA; a son, Dylan Bruckner, Seneca, SC; a brother and sister-in-law, Louis Charles and Christine Bruckner, Raleigh, NC; a sister, Kimberly Pennington, Bath, SC; and an aunt, Jackie Igar, Greensboro, NC.
