Wendy Ann Hovey

AIKEN – Wendy Ann Hovey, 56, entered into rest on Thursday, December 26, 2013. Born in Key West, FL, Wendy moved to Aiken in 1973 and worked as an operations specialist at SRS. She was a member of Cedar Creek Baptist Church. Wendy will be remembered as a loving mother and daughter. Wendy is survived by a daughter, Lauren Scott McCauley and her husband Michael of Charleston; a son, Joshua Scott and his wife Taylor of Charlotte, NC; her parents, Gale Keith and Mary Kay Conklin Hovey of Aiken; two brothers, Bruce Hovey of Aiken, and Bryan Hovey of Edinburgh, Scotland; a niece, Anna Hovey of Edinburgh; and a nephew, Cullen Hovey of Aiken. A visitation will be held Monday, December 30, 2013, from 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM at Shellhouse Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held privately.
